Biography
Dr. Tahmida Khanom is a Cadre (Health) of Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS), working under the Government of Bangladesh since November 2014. Currently, She is serving as an Indoor Medical Officer (IMO) in the department of medicine, Khulna Medical College Hospital, Khulna, Bangladesh. She has been graduated from Dhaka Medical College in 2011. She did her post-graduation training for four years in Dhaka Medical College Hospital and Khulna Medical College Hospital. She completed a fellow of the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS) in 2021 with internal medicine. She also became a member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP), UK in 2020. She is an honorable member of the American College of Physicians (MACP), USA since 2021. Dr. Tahmida was involved in a couple of research projects since the inception of her career. During the pandemic situation, She was the investigator of two research projects (Efficacy of Remdesivir and Fabipiravir on Covid patients) and submitted them in the indexed journals for publications. Besides, She was working in several organizations and hospitals especially USAID-funded Aponjon Projects implemented by SynosisIT, DFID funded Mariestopes maternity clinic, etc. She is now practicing as a consultant in Gazi Medical College Hospital, Khulna, Bangladesh. She married to Md. Esraz-Ul-Zannat and has two daughters (Erena Esraz Proteety & Ehana Esraz Promity).
